Aura of the Unyielding and Aura of the Tenacious
The first set of Aura’s is Aura of the Unyielding and Aura of the Tenacious. You can only have one of these two activated at a time. Aura of the Unyielding is a buff that reduces your party members’ chances to get critically hit by 50%. The spell uses are mainly PvP to protect your team from too much burst. Aura of the Tenacious is a group wide buff that gives your party back 20 mana every second. You should immediately notice that the upkeep for this spell is 30 mana every 2 seconds, but will give you 40 mana every 2 seconds. Meaning it still benefits the Mystic, slightly. This is the PvE Aura of the two, and this will help with stopping your group from ever running out of mana when coupled with your blue skittles.
Aura of the Swift
The second set of Auras is Aura of the Swift and Aura of the Merciless. Like the previous two, only one of these can be activated at a time. Aura of the Swift is a movement speed buff for your group that will increase their movement speed by 10% out of combat. It’s great for situations where your party needs to move around a lot. But, because of the other Aura in this group, you will not be using Aura of the Swift much.
Aura of the Merciless
The last Aura, Aura of the Merciless, is well…I’ll let you guys read this one yourselves. No, those aren’t typo’s, and yes, you are reading that right. It doubles the crit rate of your party members. This is the strongest spell in the game, and the main reason why Mystics are preferred for end game dungeons. The damage differences for your party members is insane when comparing groups with a Priest healer and a Mystic healer. If you are interested in doing speed clears at max level, you’ll want a Mystic over a Priest if nothing but for this spell. Partied together with Tera Sorcerer skills or a ranged Tera archer, your party could become quite strong.
That’s all for Mystics, but I’d like to end on a note that Mystics are the second hardest class to master in Tera. Second only to Warriors because of how complicated and diverse their spells and abilities are. When all is said and done, Priests can heal just as good as Mystics can, Priests just lack support and utility spells.
